POWER HACKSAW
- After asking the job from the production supervisor, the worker should go to his alloted machine and buy the equipments needed for setting from the store.
- The machine should well cleaned and lubricated before starting the production.
- Fix the hacksaw blade in the hacksaw frame.
- Check the coolant pump properly. If coolant is insufficient, then buy the coolant oil from the store.
- Place the job inbetween the jaw and turn the hydraulic lever till te frame touches the raw material.
- Measure the raw material for required dimension and place the raw matrial to cut upto its required dimension.
- Then tight the jaw while the raw material in between the jaw.
- Cutting is done after the dimension of the raw material is checked correctly.
- Coolant tube is fixed above the raw material and allow the collant to pour on raw material.
- Machines and its surroundings should be kept clean by the worker.
